Madison Treece, MS CPSS, is a Sports Science PhD Fellow at Texas A&M University.
Academically, Madison is pursuing her PhD in Kinesiology at Texas A&M under Dr. Andrew Nordin from the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management. Her other committee members include Dr. Steven Martin from the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management, Dr. Jenna Yentes from the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management, and Dr. Mark Faries from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The objective of her projects is to identify lower limb myoelectric spatiotemporal dynamics during controlled isometric, concentric, and eccentric muscle contractions and locomotion.
She provides biomechanics expertise to Texas A&M Performance and Wellness units as well as serving as a sports scientist for our athletics programs, primarily assisting Texas A&M Softball and Track and Field / Cross-Country. Additionally, Treece serves as the Sports Science liaison to Sports Medicine, enhancing our integration between units.
