William Hanney, DPT, PhD, ATC, CSCS is a clinician, researcher and educator. He holds a BS in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science from the University of West Florida as well as a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He also earned his PhD in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science from Nova Southeastern University. His research interests lie in the conservative management of musculoskeletal pain with a particular focus on axial disorders. He has published on a variety of topics ranging from reliability and validity studies to interventional randomized controlled trials. As an experienced clinical researcher, he has worked with healthcare administrative research infrastructure, clinical management, as well as clinicians assisting in data collection to coordinate a team with a dedicated focus to answer meaningful clinical questions and disseminate those results nationally and internationally.
