Assistant Softball Coach

Tyler Krobetzky is an assistant coach for the Lady Techster Softball team at Louisiana Tech University. He received his master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Performance from Louisiana Tech and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spring Arbor University in Michigan. Krobetzky had an extensive baseball career, playing and coaching internationally and professionally for 7 years. He spent 6 months in Auckland, New Zealand, helping the Central City Mariners to a runner up finish in the country’s national tournament and assisting in coaching the club’s U15 team. He has also spent time in Japan, Australia, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, South Africa, and the Czech Republic. Before his international career, Krobetzky spent 3 seasons playing independent professional baseball for the Old Orchard Beach Surge in Maine, the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings in Texas, and the Hilo Hawaii Stars on the big island of Hawaii.
