Dr. Madelin Siedler recently received her PhD in Exercise Physiology from Texas Tech University. Previously, she received a Master of Arts in Health Communication from Emerson College and a Master of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Florida. During her time at Texas Tech, Dr. Siedler published research on the validity and reliability of consumer-facing body composition devices and the effects of chronic thermogenic supplementation. During this time, she also conducted meta-epidemiological research related to the qualiity of systematic reviews and guidelines in exercise science and sports medicine. Her dissertation focuses on RMR ratio as an indicator of energetic status in active women on the combined oral contraceptive pill. In August, she will begin a new position as Assistant Professor in Exercise and Health Science at the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University in Minnesota.
