My name is Christian Rodriguez, MS, CSCS, CISSN, CPT, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Exercise Physiology at Texas Tech University under Dr. Grant Tinsley. In the Energy Balance & Body Composition Laboratory we conduct research related to metabolism, body composition, sports nutrition, and resistance training. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutritional Sciences from Texas Tech University in 2016 and a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas Tech University in 2019. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and a Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN) through the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). Among my greatest interests in the field are the theory and applications of current non-invasive techniques for estimating skeletal muscle size in multifarious populations.
