Haley Bergstrom received a B.S. (2009) in Exercise Science from Doane University, and a M.S. (2011) and Ph.D. (2014) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion. She is a senior associate editor for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with distinction (CSCS*D) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Her research explores questions related to the mathematical modeling of human performance and the non-invasive assessment of muscle function and fatigue. These methodologies are used to examine exercise and nutritional interventions to delay the onset and mitigate the effects of fatigue during anaerobic and aerobic exercise.
