Pasquale J. (P.J.) Succi, MS, CSCS, is a doctoral candidate at the University of Kentucky within the Kinesiology and Health Promotion Department with a specialization in Exercise Physiology. He received his BS (2017) degree in Comprehensive Sciences from Villanova University and received his MS (2021) from the University of Kentucky. Prior to joining the graduate program at UK, he worked as a research assistant for the University of Pennsylvania Hospital and Temple University. Currently, he is under the mentorship of Dr. Haley Bergstrom, and his research interests include the examination of factors that influence the perception of effort using non-invasive measurements of electromyography, mechanomyography, ventilatory, and heart rate based fatigue thresholds. His primary research agenda is to investigate the perception of effort during endurance exercise.
