Lem Taylor is a Professor in the School of Exercise & Sport Science and the Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Lem also serves as the Director of the Human Performance Lab and the graduate Exercise Physiology (M.S.) program. Lem has published over 175 peer-reviewed journal articles, books, book chapters, and abstracts in the area of exercise physiology and nutrition. Lem is currently the Executive Director of the Texas Chapter of ACSM, is a Fellow of ACSM and is also a Past-President and Fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN). Lem is an active member of the NSCA, ISSN, and the ACSM and is on the editorial board or serves as a reviewer of several journals that are associated with these organizations. Lem is life-long resistance trainer, a former football and rugby player and is passionate about sports and the science associated with sports.
