Nick Kuhlman, MS, CSCS is a PhD student and research assistant in the Nutritional Sciences department at University of Connecticut. As a former collegiate strength and conditioning coach and department director, Nick's research focuses on the intersection of nutrition, musculoskeletal health, and sport science. His doctoral dissertation examines the effects of collagen peptide supplementation on bone metabolism, tendon morphology, immune function, and the gut microbiome.
