Lance Bollinger, PhD, CEP is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion at the University of Kentucky. Prior to pursuing a career in academia, Dr. Bollinger worked as a clinical exercise physiologist, primarily in a cardiac rehabilitation setting. Dr. Bollinger received his doctoral degree from East Carolina University where he studied the effects of obesity on skeletal muscle mass. In his current position, Dr. Bollinger is investigating, among other things, the efficacy flywheel-based resistance exercise as a resistance and endurance training modality.
