Jamal Thruston, CSCS, TSAC-F, is a Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky completing a M.S. in Exercise Physiology. Jamal is passionate about supporting the tactical population, and does research for both the Sports Medicine Research Institute, which has military research initiatives, and the First Responder Research Lab. Outside of research, he has a wealth of experience with being a strength & conditioning coach, personal trainer, nutrition coach, area manager, and business developer for a multitude of businesses. Jamal's personal hobbies include running, weight lifting, rucking, martial arts, and playing his bass guitar.
