James Henley is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kennesaw State University. After graduating from high school in 2003 he joined the US Army as a Combat Engineer where he found a passion for fitness and health. Later, after transferring to the US Air Force as an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter James took on the role of physical training leader and began implementing HIFT training for the department increasing PT scores and pass rates. In 2019 he left the military to pursue a B.S. in Exercise Science at KSU and became involved with research. He will begin the second year of his M.S. of Exercise Science at KSU and the position of Exercise Physiology GTA in the fall of 2024. James has also been nominated as the President of the Exercise Science Master's Club for the 2024/2025 academic year.
