Dr. Michael Trevino is an assistant professor in the department of Health and Human Performance at Oklahoma State University. He received a doctoral degree from the University of Kansas under the mentorship of Dr. Trent Herda and his undergraduate and master's degree from California State University, Fullerton under the mentorship of Dr. Jared Coburn. His research interests include the noninvasive assessment of muscle function with surface electromyography (EMG), EMG signal decomposition, and mechanomyography (MMG) and the effects of aging, training interventions, muscle quality and musle fiber type on neuromuscular function.
