Shawn Allen graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Exercise Science. He is currently a Masters student at Oklahoma State University. Shawn’s research has primarily investigated the musculoskeletal and bone physiological characteristics and adaptations of D1 cross country, track & field athletes. He is a member of the Musculoskeletal Adaptations to Aging and eXercise (MAAX) lab, under the mentorship of Dr. Bree Baker. He plans to continue musculoskeletal and bone research in the pursuit of overcoming the complications of space flight.
