University of Wisconsin - Platteville
Conor Cantwell MS, CSCS*D, USAW-1 - is entering his second year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Cantwell will present a poster entitled" MULTI SET STRENGTH COMPARISON IN BRAKING AND PROPULSIVE FORCE-TIME CHARACTERISTICS DURING ACCENTUATED ECCENTRIC LOADING BACK SQUATS". Prior to Platteville Cantwell was an affiliate performance coach for the Cincinatti Reds organisation. Cantwell completed his masters at Carroll University in Sort Physiology and Performance Coaching. He completed his undergraduate degree in sport and exercise sciences at the University of Limerick. In 2022 Cantwell won the NSCA Masters Research Outstanding Podium Award. Cantwell has also previously worked with Munster Rugby, ETSU Baseball, Garryowen FC and Swim Ireland Limerick Center.
