Jeremy Ross is an Assistant Research Professor with the University of Kentucky's Sports Medicine Research Institute, based remotely at Camp Lejeune. A 5-year veteran of the United States Army, Jeremy served in the 82nd Airborne Division for two combat tours in Afghanistan where he gained an interest in occupation-specific military fitness and injury prevention. Jeremy attended the University of Texas and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Education and a master's in Sport Science and Nutrition. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Performance and Sport Scientist with distinction (CPSS*D). His current research with the United States Marine Corps investigates the effectiveness of training programs with an emphasis on early predictors of musculoskeletal injury and gender integration.
